Venturers (Ages 14 - 18)
In Venturers, the youth totally run the section, and
the advisor, well...advises. The idea is that the Venturer executive
committee performs many of the roles that a leader would in the lower
sections.
Some of the program offerings include: High
Adventure, using skills acquired in junior section, Sea cruises on Grand
Banks 49', Mardi Gras,
Rovent, Skeeter, and
Rainbucket.
Location of youth meetings: Various, depending
on program
Time of meeting: Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00 at the
boat-house

By-laws
- Meet Tuesdays at 7pm at Boat-house
- Attend most of the Social Camps
- Business meeting first Tuesday of the month
- 3-person quorum for decisions
- Adult and Venturer membership to the Company shall be by
invitation
and agreed to by 60% of fully registered members
- This Company will assist starting new Venturer Companies
at the 1st
Semiahmoo sea Scouts group if required
- Discipline: Continued failure to observe the by-laws may
result in being asked to leave the Company
